Visual Arts
Alexander Kaun
Adirondack Middle School - 6th Grade
Alexander Kaun is in 6th grade at Adirondack Middle School. Alex was chosen as artist of the month because he is always working hard, very creative and has a great attitude. Alex has done some outstanding art work in many mediums. He is holding a digital art Mandala he created using photo-shop. All his projects were approached with the same level of enthusiasm and effort- top notch!
Instrumental Arts
Alexandra Khouri
Adirondack High School - 9th Grade, Freshman
Alex, freshman, is an excellent musician and is very dedicated to her music activities at Adirondack. She performs on flute in Concert Band, Musical Pit Orchestra, and was selected for The Oneida All-County Band in March for the second year in a row. She is currently preparing an advanced level flute solo and duet to be adjudicated at this year’s NYSSMA Solo Festival. The Fine Arts Department is very proud of Alex and we look forward to her further accomplishments in music.
Vocal Arts
Logan Richter
Boonville Elementary - 3rd Grade
Logan Richter works very hard in school and it shows in the music room! Logan is currently working on his recorder skills in music and is very close to achieving his Green Belt in Recorder Karate. Outside of school, you can find Logan practicing his guitar and recorder, and he also enjoys playing video games and watching TV. He hopes to be a percussionist in the 4th grade band next year. Logan is a polite and respectful student and is an excellent role model for his peers.
