Visual Arts

Ansley Burgess

Adirondack Middle School - 7th Grade

Ansley Burgess is a 7th grader who excels in many mediums in art class. She is a very talented artist and did such a terrific job during the observational drawing unit. Ansley comes in everyday prepared to work and is very consciences of her art work and always is helping others who need it. Ansley sketchbook for class is always very detailed and executed with great thought. Ansley is a pleasure to have in class.

Instrumental Arts

Jacob Gruver

Adirondack High School ' 12^th Grade, Senior

Jacob is a very dedicated musician and an integral part of Instrumental Music activities at Adirondack, performing primarily on tenor saxophone in Concert Band and alto saxophone in Jazz Band. Jacob is also a very valuable member of the Pit Orchestra for the Musical, where he willingly plays whatever saxophone is needed, including baritone saxophone. He practices very hard to learn the difficult music often contained in professional level musicals. As a result, his musicianship has progressed very quickly in his high school years. He also excels academically, will be graduating in the spring, and plans to major in Computer Science. The Fine Arts Department is very proud of Jacob and his contributions to a highly-accomplished music program.

Avery Fynmore

Boonville Elementary School ' 5^th Grade

Avery is the definition of the word “enthusiastic!” She is a leading member of the Boonville 5^th Grade Chorus where she excels in learning and performing the music. In music class she is always focused and excited to learn. Avery is also a drummer in the 5^th Grade Band. Outside of school, she enjoys singing and playing Minecraft on her PlayStation 4.
