Visual Arts
Cora Hinsdill
Forestport Elementary School - 4th Grade
Cora is a natural Artist with great talent and skill. She is a hard worker who always puts forth her best effort and is a joy to have in the classroom.
Instrumental Arts
Sienna Snyder
Adirondack Middle School - 6th Grade
Sienna plays the flute and piccolo. She is a dedicated musician who consistently works to improve her playing skills. Sienna is a fine musician and is a great person to be around.
Vocal Arts
Adam Mercer
Adirondack High School - 12th Grade, Senior
Adam is a vocalist in Evergreen, a select ensemble at Adirondack High School and is president of the Concert Choir. Adam attended the Area All-State Music Festival in the fall of 2016 and 2017. Adam has been a NYSSMA (New York State School Music Association) participant since his freshman year, and has received consistently high scores on his level 6 (the highest level) solos. Currently, he is rehearsing the role of Billy Crocker in preparation for “Anything Goes”, this year's upcoming musical. Adam says that he likes the musical because it's fun to perform, and he likes acting and making people laugh. Adam has had several opportunities at Adirondack, and is a vital member of the high school choral program.
